Matthew Tkachuk, Brady Tkachuk and Matt Boldy have already proven they can perform under pressure on the ice.
Apparently, they can handle a karaoke stage too.
The three Team USA teammates took home first place in the Celebrity Karaoke competition held during the 2026 American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe, adding another unexpected trophy to what has already been a memorable year for the trio.
From Olympic Gold to Karaoke Champions
The Tkachuk brothers and Boldy performed Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” which is not exactly the easiest song someone could choose for karaoke night.
That did not stop them from leaning completely into the performance.
Videos from the event showed the three NHL stars on stage together, delivering a spirited rendition of the classic song before eventually being named the winners of the celebrity competition.
It may not carry the same weight as an Olympic gold medal, but it was another victory for three players who have seemingly been attached at the hip throughout the offseason.
Matthew, Brady and Boldy were all members of the United States team that captured Olympic gold earlier in 2026. Their connection has continued away from the rink, with Boldy recently appearing alongside the brothers on their Wingmen podcast.
Hockey Took Over Lake Tahoe
The karaoke contest was part of the festivities surrounding the American Century Championship, the annual celebrity golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Resort.
More than 80 athletes and entertainers were included in the 2026 field, with Matthew Tkachuk, Brady Tkachuk and Boldy grouped together for the opening round on Friday, July 10.
The event regularly attracts major names from football, basketball, baseball, hockey and the entertainment industry. This year’s tournament ran from July 8 through July 12, with the main golf competition airing on NBC and Peacock.
However, at least for one night, the hockey players stole the show away from the golf course.
Definitely Not Their First Celebration Together
Anyone who watched Team USA’s Olympic celebration earlier this year knows Brady Tkachuk is not exactly afraid of grabbing a microphone.
After the Americans captured gold, Brady led his teammates in singing the national anthem during the medal ceremony. Matthew was right there celebrating beside him, while Boldy was also part of the championship group. (NBC Olympics)
The Lake Tahoe performance carried considerably fewer stakes, but the energy appeared familiar.
The three players were loud, confident and fully committed to the moment. Whether every note was perfect probably did not matter. Celebrity karaoke is as much about entertaining the crowd as it is about actual singing ability, and the hockey trio clearly understood the assignment.
Another Memorable Moment for the Tkachuks
The Tkachuk brothers have become two of the NHL’s most recognizable personalities, and moments like this help explain why.
They play with emotion, celebrate loudly and rarely appear interested in toning themselves down for the cameras. Boldy may normally carry a quieter public image, but he looked perfectly comfortable joining the brothers for their latest off-ice adventure.
Winning an Olympic gold medal together was the serious accomplishment.

The NHL offseason can sometimes feel painfully long, but Matthew Tkachuk, Brady Tkachuk and Matt Boldy are doing their part to keep hockey fans entertained.
